Celas Maya Spanish School is one of the biggest and best-established schools in Quetzaltenango. We offer high-quality private lessons in Spanish and K´iche, taught by our very professional team of teachers. They all hold a university diploma in teaching Spanish as a second language, and as one of the few schools in town we maintain our own fixed team of experienced teachers (they have 2-12 years of teaching experience).

Spanish School Miguel Angel Asturias

Named after Guatemala's Literature Nobel Prize laureate (1967), Miguel Angel Asturias Spanish School is run by trained and certified teachers who support students in order to obtain an excellent comprehension of Spanish, facilitating in each lesson the understanding of Guatemala and Latin American culture and reality. They also offer a specialized program for medicine or nursing students, which combines Spanish lessons and medical context terminology. This course provides clinical experience under a community approach. Our courses are valid for extra credits in some international universities, since we are accredited by the Ministry of Education and Guatemala's Tourism Board.
